Thanks to donor generosity, over $465,000 was invested into the Endoscopy Department in Lloydminster Hospital. State of the art scopes were purchased, high-tech sanitization rooms set up and equipped, in addition to the brand new Lloydminster & District Co-Operative Patient Waiting Lounge. Having these services in our city means less travel time for patients, which means less “down time”, faster recovery because procedures are less invasive, and increased comfort, knowing family and loved ones are nearby.

Portable Ultrasound for Emergency Department - Improving Speed and Accuracy

Thanks to a $66,000 donation from the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation, Lloydminster Hospital ER now has a brand new portable ultrasound unit. ER Nurse Manager Karen Collins says “The portable ultrasound unit allows us to improve efficiencies in patient care and diagnosis. It truly helps us save lives.
