We are proud to support a project that will directly impact the lives of local patients and families facing cancer. A New Home for Hope is our commitment to supporting the relocation of the Cancer Care Unit at our hospital, creating a space thoughtfully designed around healing, dignity, and comfort.

Cancer treatment is not a one-time visit. For many patients, it means weeks or months of regular appointments, long hours receiving treatment, and navigating an emotional and physical journey that can feel overwhelming. The environment in which care is delivered matters. A well-designed space can reduce stress, increase privacy, improve workflow for healthcare teams, and offer greater comfort during treatment.

Through this campaign, the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation will help fund critical elements of the relocation, including enhancements to patient treatment areas, upgraded equipment, and features that prioritize comfort and foster a more supportive atmosphere for patients and their loved ones.

This project is about more than walls and equipment. It is about ensuring that when someone in our community hears the words “you have cancer,” they know they can receive compassionate, high-quality care close to home, in a space built with their needs at the heart of it.
