Lloydminster’s Gift To Health Livestream!

The 8th Annual Gift To Health Livestream presented by Cenovus is on November 10th, 2026!

Join us for our annual Dodgeball Tournament this year at the Lloydminster Comprehensive High School all while raising funds for A New Home For Hope: A Place for Cancer Care and Comfort!

Dodge For A Cause presented by Cenovus Energy was held on December 2nd, 2025.  16 teams of 10 battled it out on the Dodgeball Court where the IT&P Dodgeball Squad were victorious!  Throughout the 12 hour livestream we had multiple hosts, Evan Degenhardt from The Goat, Kurt Price, Heather Klages, and multiple guest hosts throughout the day!  Thanks to you, our donors, our sponsors, volunteers and participants we were able to raise over $225,000 for our Greatest Needs Fund including items for the Heartbeat Of The Hospital; a Vein Finder, Sterilization Equipment upgrades, Pyxis Fridge and Med Carts!

Dodge For A Cause presented by Cenovus Energy was held on December 3rd, 2024.  16 teams of 10 battled it out on the Dodgeball Court where Maz Entertainment were victorious!  Throughout the 12 hour livestream we had multiple hosts, Evan Degenhardt from The Goat, Kurt Price, Heather Klages, and multiple guest hosts throughout the day!  Thanks to you, our donors, our sponsors, volunteers and participants we were able to raise over $238,000 for our Greatest Needs Fund including upgrades to the Maternity Department; Panda Warmers, Fetal Heart Monitors & High Flow Oxygen Beds!

Dodge For A Cause presented by Cenovus Energy was held on November 28th, 2023.  16 teams of 10 battled it out on the Dodgeball Court where the Sitting Ducks were victorious!  Throughout the 12 hour livestream we had multiple hosts, Evan Degenhardt and Mike McGuire from The Goat, Kurt Price, Heather Klages, Cenovus Senior Project Engineer Michael Welygan as well as ‘Cenovus Leah’ and multiple guest hosts throughout the day!  Thanks to you, our donors, our sponsors, volunteers and participants we were able to raise over $250,000 for our Greatest Needs Fund!

This event is an interactive community experience, jam-packed with activities and comradery. As part of the planned activities, 16 teams of ten will participate in an intense, yet fun dodgeball tournament to ‘dodge the stigma’ around mental health. These teams will compete for awards in categories like overall tournament winner, funniest costume, most sportsmanlike and highest pledges raised. The event will be commentated by local resident and Cenovus Senior Project Engineer, Michael Welygan, along with other guest hosts throughout the day. The youth of the community will also have a chance to get involved through a physical challenge running from November 1 to November 25.

On December 7, 2021, over 220,000 viewers watched as 24 amazing community members ran 2016.58km on treadmills while 4 show hosts performed more than 60 interviews and visited more than 20 community locations all for 12 hours straight working together to raise $540,000 for Diagnostic Imaging at the Lloydminster Hospital!

On December 15, 2020, Lloydminster Region Health Foundation hosted their Radiothon and Digital Live Stream “Lloydminster’s Gift to Health” in response to the need for many new facility upgrades at the Lloydminster Hospital and Long-Term Care Homes. In just 12 hours the Health Foundation who started the day with the goal of raising $200,000 raised more than $350,000 thanks to the incredibly inspiring community we live in.

On December 3, 2019, Lloydminster Region Health Foundation hosted their very first Radiothon and Digital Live Stream “Lloydminster’s Gift to the Hospital” in response to the need for a new pharmaceutical system at the Lloydminster Hospital. In just one day the Health Foundation raised $53,780 for health right here in Lloydminster.
