The GOAT’s Christmas Wish RADIOTHON is on Thursday October 19th, 2023 from 7am – 7pm in partnership with the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation.

12 straight hours of community, fundraising, and sharing stories about this local initiative that has impacted so many local lives each year and has also raised over $1 million in funds and product for Lloydminster and Area these past 20+ years!

Two decades ago, a local family’s life changed forever…

A member of that family would be in permanent need of a wheelchair. That also meant needing wheelchair accessibility in their home – lowering the counters, widening all doorways to their home and numerous other jobs. 106.1 The Goat rallied our clients and the community and got those upgrades done for the family.

The Goat’s Christmas Wish was born.

20+ years later and over $1 million in funds raised and donated back into our community – The Goat’s Christmas Wish continues to make a local impact. Every dollar raised each year gets donated back to local families during the week before Christmas.
